The Once-a-Month Cooking method is designed for user-friendly preparation and family-friendly recipes.
In a nutshell, the method involves
Selecting a menu from Once-a-Month Cooking or Once-a-Month Cooking Family Favorites
Grocery shopping from the shopping list provided
Prep work – all the chopping and browning at once to save time
Assembling the entrees in a provided sequence
Labeling and freezing
Both books provide recipes for two week menus or entire month of menus. One of the menus in Once-a-Month Cooking Family Favorites is gluten-free. We recommend that first-time Once-a-Month cooks try the method with a friend, particularly if there are young children in the home.
